We finally found a winter coat for Abby. I have been shopping online and in stores for at least a month trying to find one I like. I'm a little picky - I'll admit it - but I am also very practical. Why would a 15 month old need a jacket made of scratchy wool? How about those giant, puffy parkas that are bright purple? Just not practical. Anyway, we found the winner at Baby Gap (big surprise). Josh actually noticed it right away - I'm so glad he did! We brought it home and tried it on Abby that night. She didn't want to take it off! She walked all around the house with it on. When it was time for bed, she still didn't want to part with it. I had her on the changing table, ready to put jammies on and head for bed, and she was still wearing it. We finally got it off her - thank goodness. Now, anytime we go somewhere and we put on her coat, she gets so excited. She loves to touch the trim - it's really soft and fuzzy. At the grocery store the other day she was sitting in the cart with this cute little look on her face rubbing the fuzzy part. She's so silly! Anyway, I'm really glad she likes it so much because she's going to be wearing it a lot over the next several months.
