rainforest cafe part 1

We met my family at the Rainforest Cafe at Southcenter to celebrate Abby's birthday last week. Abby really liked to look at all the animals. The only time she freaked out was when the waitress brought her the "volcano" and sang happy birthday. It had a sparkler on top and that really made her scared for some reason. She kept hanging on to me until they took the sparkler away. Then she didn't like the candle on top either. Silly girl! Then, she picked up a spoon and started eating. She liked the ice cream but didn't care for the brownie. She isn't a big sweets fan, so she really didn't eat much of it. It was still fun to celebrate that way, though! I think her favorite thing about the Cafe was the alligator. At the entrance there is a small pond and there is a fake alligator in there that opens and closes its mouth, and you can throw coins in his mouth and make a wish. Abby stood there talking to him and making her alligator face for quite some time. She really got a kick out of it! Then we all took a walk around the new part of the mall - we took a break for Abby to play with Gramma's purse - she loves to take everything out and check it out. It was a great time for us to celebrate as a family.
