evening on a boat

A couple of weeks ago the 3 of us were invited to go out on a friend's boat for an evening. We packed up as fast as we could, fed Abby dinner in the car, and got to Lake Sammamish pretty quick. We hopped in the boat and off we went! Abby had so much fun. She wore her life vest and was happy about it! YES! She even had fun rolling around in the boat with it on. We're not sure why that was so fun...but she had a blast. Josh and everyone else was swimming in the water, and Abby really wanted to get in. I hadn't brought a suit or swim diaper for her since I figured she wouldn't want to go in. Guess I was wrong about that one. We stripped her down to her diaper and her life vest and into the lake she went with Josh. The water was really warm so I think that made it even more appealing to her. Josh held on to her and the floated/swam around for quite a while. She was smiling and saying - Abby swim - I swimmin! It was so cute. The smile on her face, and Josh's face, was priceless.
