We decided to take a 3 Heberts outing today so we headed up to Rattlesnake Ridge just outside of North Bend. We were all suited up and ready for a nice little hike. I haven't hiked in forever - but Josh has been hiking pretty regularly these days to prepare for his Mt. Baker climb. He carried Abby on his back and off we went. The hike is 2 miles up and you go 1175 feet to get to the ledge. It was pretty steep in some places, but the trail is in great condition so it made it a good hike. Abby did amazingly well - she had snacks and water all along the way - and she was looking for squirrels. The weather was perfect - just a little cloudy and warm, not too hot. We drank lots of water and enjoyed our time together.

I loved reading all these stories about Abby's tail, fop-fops, clipert, and seeing the fans 'gain-'gain. She's growing so fast! And cute as ever.
Looks like you guys had fun on your hike.
Let's do a video chat soon so we can all see each other... I'll bug my brother about it. :)
